Fantastic tour. We started in a very local Izakaya, moved to a Yatai in which the guides connections let us skip the huge line, then finished in a local bar with karaoke (we were asked what we wanted as the last stop and we said very local bar).
The great thing about this tour is that as you pay for your own food, you can order as much or as little as you like using the guide to facilitate. I've been on food tours before where you feel pressured to try food you know you won't like, or not to order too much, there is none of that with this system. The tongkatsu ramen at the Yatai in particular was excellent.
The final bar we ended up doing karaoke with quite a few locals in a bar we would never have found alone.
Definitely recommend this tour.
